Are you currently taking new appointments/how do I book an appointment?

I only book my appointments 2 months out at a time and I make announcements on my Instagram account when my books are open. To streamline booking requests, all requests will be made through my Booking page. No Instagram or Facebook DM’s will be read or responded to. Keep in mind that continuing projects will get my first priority in booking, followed by your unique geekery, pop culture, food related, occult, or blackwork ideas as well as thicc boi pin-ups and my existing flash designs. Also keep an eye on Instagram for last minute openings due to cancellations, these spots are usually filled only with my available flash designs.

What is your deposit policy?

A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. Deposits can range from $60-200+ based on the estimated length of your appointment. Deposits will be taken via PayPal or Venmo. Your deposit will be applied to the final cost of your tattoo. Deposits are non-refundable- in the event of a cancellation less than 48 hours before your appointment, a no-show to your appointment, or excessive tardiness without notification, your deposit will be forfeited. If you need to change your appointment time or date, please let me know ASAP so that we can find a time that works best for the both of us, and so that I can refill your canceled time slot.

I’m under 18/I turn 18 later this year/and I want to get tattooed, or I am a minor child’s guardian and I want to sign for their tattoo…

Sorry folks, it is a Class 2 misdemeanor in the state of North Carolina to tattoo anyone under the age of 18. You must be at least 18 years old on the date of your appointment to get tattooed, ID is required. No exceptions. If you are planing your first tattoo, we can do a consultation in preparation for when you turn 18.

Can I get tattooed while pregnant?

Unfortunately, no. There are a number of risks associated with getting tattooed while pregnant, including infection, heightened sensitivity, and trauma/shock.

Can I get tattooed while under the influence of drugs or alcohol?

Absolutely not. You must be 100% in control of your body and mind while getting tattooed. In addition, alcohol and other drugs that thin your blood will cause you to bleed in excess and may cause complications with the tattoo process. If you are concerned about pain management, I strongly recommend that you eat a good meal, drink lots of water, and practice meditative breathing before your appointment. The more relaxed your mind and body are, the less it will hurt.

What are your rates/how much would you charge for this tattoo?

All of my tattoos are charged by the hour, at $150 per hour, with a minimum charge of $80 for anything taking less than 30 minutes to complete. While it can be hard to give an estimate on how long larger pieces may take, I am happy to break your piece up in to sessions to fit your budget so that there are no surprises on the final cost. On occasion I will have flat-rate one-off designs available, which will be the only exception to my hourly rate.

Can I see a finished drawing before my appointment?

I do not provide completed artwork before your appointment. I will have a finished drawing for you on the day of your appointment, and you are free to make any and all changes to make your design perfect for you! If you would like to see a completed drawing before your appointment, I recommend you take a look at my available one-off designs.

How do I take care of my new tattoo?

My preferred healing method uses Saniderm, a clear, breathable, adhesive bandage. Using Saniderm simplifies and drastically shortens the healing process. I will explain the process at the end of your session, but keep in mind that while wearing Saniderm (3-6 days post session) you can not sweat or soak your tattoo site. Any fresh tattoo must be covered from sun exposure and you should avoid swimming or soaking the site until fully healed. Only use fragrance free antibacterial soap to wash your new tattoo, and keep a light covering of fragrance free lotion on your tattoo once the Saniderm is removed. You can learn more about Saniderm here.

What should I do to prepare for my appointment?

Take care of your body and your body will take care of you. Get plenty of sleep, keep hydrated, and eat a good meal before hand. I have a small selection of complimentary beverages, but feel free to bring any snacks or non-alcoholic drinks you need to stay hydrated throughout your session.

Do you accept cards?

Cash is always appreciated, but we are able to take your payment via credit/debit, PayPal, Cash App, Venmo, etc. No checks though. Who even writes checks anymore?

What’s the deal with tipping?

As with many other service industry jobs, tipping is a great way to show your appreciation for a job well done. Tips are never expected, but always appreciated.
